The Arizona Department of Education has utilized Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funding to bring the PAX Good Behavior Game to the educators and children of Arizona. This trauma-informed, evidence-based practice helps teachers and other school-based personnel guide students in improving self-regulation and behavioral outcomes. This strategy has proven to increase standardized test scores, improve student mental health, and decrease teacher stress.
All Arizona educators are eligible to sign up for these fully-funded trainings that includes live virtual or self-paced online options as well as all materials at no cost. Individuals can register for training at www.paxarizona.org. School officials and large groups can email paxarizona@paxis.org to book training.

Competitive Grant Writing by Kristin Turner
Some would say competitive grant writing, like most creative writing, is an art form that awards the visionaries who have impressive vocabulary, new ideas, and refined keyboarding skills. I, on the other hand, would disagree with those people. Anyone can achieve success with competitive grant writing by following the steps outlined in this article.
Finding Grant Opportunities
The first step in competitive grant writing is to identify grants that suit the needs or wants of your school. You can spend time searching through listings on websites like GrantsAlert.com (https://grantsalert.com/ ). Read more.
